This website and on-line magazine was founded by Frieda Mukufa and Robert Myres. We decided to collaborate on this project due to our shared love of writing and communicating and also in a desire to highlight some of the amazing young people who are pushing through barriers and changing Namibia. We’ve been friends for many years and are delighted now to have the opportunity to work together.

Indomitable Frieda
As an easy going individual, I am a conscientious and industrious person who enjoys a great popularity and reputation among people I know. I always have a positive attitude towards everything that I set my mind onto, and with with a very keen craving for knowledge, I believe my inquisitiveness makes me stand out from the crowd.
My interpersonal and communication skills have always allowed me to develop a productive working relationship with my networks. I am creative, funny, a poet and an innovative writer.
I hold a Masters degree in English and Applied Linguistics and and Honors in Communications from The Namibia University of Science and Technology.

Rob Myres
I founded Mondesa Youth Opportunities in 2004 and more recently co-founded Namib Futures. Both non-profit organizations were organized to provide educational and mentoring opportunities for bright, hard-working young Namibians who want to break free from disadvantaged backgrounds and achieve their career and life goals.
For work, I am a hired geek of sorts; a consultant working primarily in large IT program management. My company is called Pyramid Program Management and I mainly focus on ERP Implementations in a variety of industries.
I live in West Virginia and Ohio with my girlfriend Brittany and our super cool dog Martini.
